Repeat Your Entry

Now you can have a repeat exposure of your accepted entry from an earlier report. Writer's Edge Service will re-run your book proposal, with your comments, in its monthly paper report mailed to the participating publishers. This will give you a chance to place before the acquisitions editors your writing project and invite their reconsideration.

How the Repeat Service Works

The monthly reports we mail to our publisher list will include embedded with new entries those that should be reexamined for publishing consideration. These entries will have the following features and limitations:

--The book proposals described are already accepted in the normal Writer's Edge evaluation process

--The original description was at least six months before the current date

--The writer has made some changes, improvements, or has comments about the manuscript
 useful to an editor's consideration

--The writer has found marketing opportunities that would appeal to publishers and editors

Charges

We have to impose a modest fee ($25) for the repeat entry, since some administrative action is involved and some web site programming. We've always said Writer's Edge reports are not "ads" but in this case you can consider this expense "advertising" for your project.

How to Request the Repeat Exposure

Every step can be done online.

1. Find your Book Proposal ID from the Book Bank. This will provide you with your unique number to find your own record for editing and expansion.

2. Enter the ID number and make changes on-line as you wish, including your comments about the features of your project worthy of fresh consideration. Make a printout, if necessary, and plan what you will add or change. If you already have your Book Proposal ID number and are ready to proceed, click here.

3. When all changes have been made, you can request an invoice from our Secure Credit Card provider, PayPal, and make the payment on your credit card of choice. We'll acknowledge receipt of your payment by email and indicate the date of the next report in which it will appear.
