MY SHEPHERD LORD, Psalm 23 is an in-depth look at David when he was a boy, in his middle years and in his final years. The nine chapters tells us how believers today can benefit from his experience with the Good Shepherd. There is hope for all of us when we realize the depth of David's sin, yet he was a man after God's own heart. I have written a trilogy: THE EXCELLENCY OF JESUS CHRIST, Epistle to the Hebrews; THE UNSEEN KING, Divine Nature of God and GOD'S DIVINE PLAN, the Tabernacle. All of my books have been tested by Bible students and pastors.

Glad to have found Writer's Edge. I have a wonderful chronicle of God's amazing power to heal deep hurts and memories. Several years ago I wrote and sold "Making Wise Choices," a Bible study, to First Place (a Christian Health organization). I have since written a companion book that I am interested in getting published. It is a book that will promote spiritual growth for Christians, but will also be of interest to non-Christians. Making the right/wise choice in our everday life can be difficult. This book will enable the reader to discern between wise and unwise using God's word as the standard.

"Suppositions" is a not-so-fictional book about a man who on a crisp Sunday morning in late June decides to go to Church. He remains nameless throughout the story as our hero's notion of going to "church" is to stay forty days in the Bayou, a particularly rough stretch of country in southern Oklahoma along the Red River. He has come to speak to Jesus, even leaving a note signed, The Tishbite. This man has lost his family in a tragic car wreck in which he did not share with them. He is disabled and now drinks heavily. This has led to serious liver damage. Our hero senses his own mortality, but is compelled to seek the truth of his life by waiting in the wilderness as his Lord had done. Instead, he has many mysterious visitors that provide clues into his past and the real cause for his disillusion. When his chariot of fire comes for him, this modern day Elijah is not met by Jesus, but by somebody most unexpectedly. Ironically, a man who shares his name with that of our hero. The story concludes with a Sheriff's report of a bizarre round circle of such heat that it fused the sand into glass. For this man's in-laws it is enough to know that Adam Freeman has finally found peace.

I have just finished writing a book called God's Love, in fact that is exactly what it is about. The subject matter deals with how he shows his love to us from creation, his mercy and compassion, to salvation and the rapture. I have gone through some horrifying battles in my life in which God has shown me first hand just how much he loves me. Dying on the cross was enough in itself, yet he has done so much more for me. I have started a new book titled, Finding Peace When There's Terror In The Night.

I am presently writing a theological book which takes another look at the I heard about The Writer's Edge from: of Jesus' humanity as it appears in the Chalcedon Creed. It servays the theotokas (Mary the Mother of God) statement in the creed as it pertains to the sinlessness of Christ. My research has led me to the position that Jesus was a new creation in the womb of Mary not part of her body but "a body prepared"(Hebrews 10:5 NIV)thus sinless "without father or Mother."(Hebrews 7:3) I believe that Mary became a surrogate mother, carrying the child created by God in her womb and not part of Mary's flesh. Today we have someting similar when an egg and sperm is united out side the body to form and embryo and planted into the substitute mother. This solves the "In Adam all died" and "All have sinned" and makes Jesus sinless. I have surveyed the subject from Ignatius to the present showing the Theotokos is still with us.

Saul of Tarsus
Date: Thursday, 29. January 2004
My current writing project is a two part series about The Way from a Jewish perpsective. Many have tried to write stories about the apostles of the first century but these are sadly lacking because people do not understand that The Way was a group of Jewish believers who were expounding on the teachings of Jahosua, a Zaddick (Righteous Servant) who as a result of his obedience to God's commands unto death, became the first of many Sons and Brethren because to as many as believe to them he gave the power to become Sons and Childeren. This was an internal struggle until the death of Stephen the first martyr after Yahosua. Saul, the Apostle to the Gentiles took these Jewish teachings to a world of people who, not only hated Jews but they dispised everything that they taught. It was in Antioch that this tension between Jewish and Greek Belivers reached fever peak and ended in the first split of this new faith. The Jews called themselves The Way and the Greeks adopted the name Christians, a name of hate and mocking to describe what they believed and Saul tried until his adeath to keep these Christians following the teachings of The Way and he was beheaded in Rome for his faithful endeavors.

I've just submitted my manuscript package to Writer's Edge Service after Strang Communications reviewed and judged it as a textbook. Since the project is about health and lifestyle, and since readers would need detailed reference information in addition to scriptural support and motivation, the project has features not usual for a Christian work, e.g., a c.d. with helpful computer programs to help with diet and physical activity. After re-writing for a general audience, and expanding the project to a book and a workbook, I'm waiting to hear whether this approach will be received enthusiastically.

My manuscript involves why signs and wonders ceased after the death of the last apostle John. I trace the history of the church to this present day and show why the miracuolous of the 1st century church didn't carry on after the death of the last apostle. I go into each denomination and show why the last command of Jesus in Mark 16 didn' carry forward and why it isn't being carried out in today's church. I show historically why the 7 feasts of Israel which the church celebrated until 325 A.D. were done away with. I give my assessment as a pastor of how this can be rectified.

It appears the market is flooded with Children's Books. I've written one of my own with the essence of the illustrations as the focal point - each picture in the book is one that the reader, whether child or adult, can spend time with looking at detail and the essence of the text description of the "action" in the picture. I'm wondering if this is the theme for all children's books. The true essence in my book is family, love, and music and time together between a parent and a child. I'm seeking to read all the best information to get published. I have contacts for publicity already. Any suggestions are welcome!

I recently finished a book entitled "Born again...and still in the wilderness". The book speaks to the millions of Christians everywhere who have accepted Christ as their savior but are not experiencing the abundant life that Jesus promised. These are those who were saved "in the wilderness" but have never made the journey into "the promised land". The book is based on the premise of Hosea 4:6 which states that, "MY people are being destroyed for a lack of knowledge". The book identifies the causes of destruction and lays out the solutions and map into God's "promised land."

The ministerial staff at my church (6,700 members) decided that in 2004 we would read, preach and study through The Daily Walk Bible (Tyndale). To date we have sold/distributed over 2,700 of these Bibles to our adult members, who continue to buy them each week for family, friends, and co-workers. Since Pat Windham, our Director of Education, couldn't find any curriculum to use this year, she asked me and two other people to write the "Journey Through the Bible" companion lessons for our adult Bible study teachers. Eash lesson comes from the previous week's reading in the DW Bible. The teacher's have responded to the lessons with enthusiasm. They asked at the April Leader's Meeting, "Do we have to go back to using Lifeway curriculum in 2005!" Paul Brooks, our pastor, endorsed this 'original and outstanding' curriculum recently in our weekly newletter by stating that other churches have asked if they could use the material. All this with only 26 lessons completed!

I am currently having a book written titled "Conflict of Interest", on my expirences as a retired USAF Lt. Col., Pilot,Chief Pilot for Howard Hughes's private fleet of aircraft for 9 years, during that time I was called before the Watergate Committee to testify regarding Hughes campaign contributions. The book will also explain H.R. Haldeman's theory about Hughes being indirectly responsible for Nixon's obsession to "get even with the Democrats" for costing him 2 elections due to Hughes loan to his brother Donald. How God used my first wife's health to take me out of the "fast lane" and return to my roots "back home again in Indiana" and restored my faith. I'm sure there are many men out there who can identify with my life. This will be a personal testimony and explain how God can change their lives as well.

I have completed a Christian book consisting onf fresh insights as well as unique anlogies and stories. Some of the material has been writen about before, but the truth never changes. I have recently completed a children's book entitled Espíritu about a 10-year-old girl's adventure as a new Christian. When she discovers Espíritu, the enormous white horse, it takes her to the land of Paraíso in the clouds. When she returns to earth, she finds that she can see things from "Paraíso's point of view" for the first time ever....including the criados (angels) and the sombras (demons). My purpose in writing this book was to inform children (and adults) of God's power....particularly to change lives.

The working title of my book is "Zeke: The Living Word of God." Zeke is a talking bible. He tells bible stories to children ages 7 to 10. He loves kids and has a great time with them. He can flip his pages and show lots of pictures of the bible story scenes. One day, Zeke will become an interactive character and will be able to share with kids video clips of the bible characters and stories he tells. Zeke loves to work with kids at Sunday school. He helps Sunday school teachers help children learn about God's word. Kids can read the bible stories and then answer questions Zeke provides at the end of each story. The bible is the living word of God. Zeke brings the bible to life through his personality and ability to tell the stories of the bible in a way that kids understand and can fun with.

Hi! I've written two children's stories, the first of which I plan to submit as soon as I can. I started "Dani's Story #1: A Home at Last" two years ago when I was fourteen. My Mom said I couldn't look for a publisher until I'd proven I could write the sequel. "Dani's Story #2: Autumn Mystery" was completed a couple weeks ago, so here I am! =) They're targeted toward kids about 8-13, especially girls, though many adults in my church have read and enjoyed them also. I'm still trying to come up with ideas for the next one, which will take place in my own little New Hampshire town of North Conway. I'm hoping and praying my stories will be published soon and be a blessing to many people.

Actually, I have written two books some years ago. In 1993, When a Church Goes Bad, which I am rewriting, and Titanic Warning, about church leadership using the ships surrounding the Titanic as examples of how to lead (or not to lead!) Presently, I am working on three books. The aformentioned rewrite, Wisdom of Solomon, a book about achieving wealth (for a secular audience) utlizing the principles of Proverbs, and "Apostolic Ministry and Other Things we Don't Believe In." This last one is focused on the practical value that each leadership gift brings to the development of the church in our day.

I have written a book titled: The Failures of the American Church. This have been an ongoing project for most of the past three years. If you were to ask, "Who are you to write such a book?" I would have to say, "nobody." Yet, as a pastor for ten years I can't help but offer my insights in the hope that The Lord Jesus will be able to use them. This book is not for everyone. I try to be positive and constructive, but the title tells it all. The book is done in a parable format, similar to the way Jesus taught. God bless!

When I first submitted by proposal to The Writer’s Edge in July of 2003, it was rejected. It was difficult for me to accept at first because, like many of you, I’d been working hard on my manuscript and I was “sure” that it would be accepted. However, after I got over my bruised feelings, I reread the letter that was sent to me by The Writer’s Edge and what I initially saw as a rejection letter, was really constructive criticism. In January of 2004, I resubmitted my proposal and it was accepted. In March of 2004, I was contacted by the editor of Walk Worthy Press and offered a two-book contract. My first book, Soul Matters, is scheduled to come out in fall of 2005. The “rejection” letter prompted me to revamp some chapters of my book and consequently, improved the book’s quality. Even friends who read it initially (and thought it was good) and then reread it commented on how much better it was. I have absolutely no regrets of submitting my work to The Writer’s Edge . . .twice! If I ever need to, I would do so again. I congratulate everyone who also obtained publishing contracts through this service. I also encourage those who may feel rejected to really consider the advice offered by your reviewer. In my case, it proved to be invaluable. Thank you “MM” whoever you are. . . - Yolonda Sanders

Imagine my absolute delight yesterday when I got an "acceptance letter" from The Writer's Edge! I had strong belief in my project, and to have it validated by you - priceless! I might add that, while I may be an exception, the "turnaround time," from submission to letter from you, was amazing. I sure wasn't expecting to hear something this soon. I really felt/feel that my work was compelling, commercial, and a heck of a lot of fun to read ... and is still grounded firmly in a Christian worldview. We'll see what happens next, won't we? And, Reviewer #1, whoever you are - thanks! You've encouraged me greatly. To get this far is fulfilling indeed. Maybe another editor out there will display as much wisdom and insight as you! First of all, let me say that I appreciate how upfront and honest you are concerning the service you seek to provide. It's refreshing. I am currently putting the finishing touches on my first book, "Coming OUt Of Absaloam's House". This book deals with the fact that there are many women who have found themselves confined to dungeons of their own making because of past encounters that have left them broken, wounded, and scarred. We use biblical references to encourage them to step beyond and past those things into their destiny. We realize that the concept is not a new one; however, we believe that the manner in which we approach this is quite fresh. You see, many have written books on this issue that ladies, and even men, might pick up and read. We have tried to create something that speaks and ministers. While attempting to stay in the bounds of grammatical rules, we have built this manuscript on the platform of "Preaching" and not that of "writing". In essence when one picks up this book, we want to give them the sence that the Pastor has stepped into the pulpit and is now speaking a word into their spirit that was designed just for them. Once again, I thank you for this web site and I look forward to using your service within the next 2 months.

My many "small" blessings. We all reach stages in our life when the devil tries to make us discouraged. I began thinking about my life since the age of six and realized I was blessed by the Lord throughout my life in many situations for example where my death was possible but the Lord stepped in. It terned into a 2900 word short story. I have also written on my experiences in relation to Jesus in the form of prose.
