Voice of Vengeance -Fear
Content:
The Holy Bible states the Seven Thunders of Revelation has not been written. Fear is the beginning of all knowledge and lacking in the church.
I am a college graduate with a company designed training from engineering to manage a business. I accepted Our Gods as my life's work. I have studied the Holy Bible from God planning technique to first understand the concepts, to next use the Holy Bible to plan a future to inherit, and finally how to teach to live by every word. As a professional, you must realize no one teaches how to live by every word, so I had to learn that on my own. Now I can train a church leader on how to start heaven on earth by the technique of Thy kingdom come. The knowledge I now grant through my literature.

Pertinent Scripture from the Bible teaches readers how to respond to a layoff, God's way, and thus enter into a more personal relationship with Him in the process.
Chapter 1 advises readers to turn to and trust God to meet all of their needs, because He is faithful to do it.
Chapter 2 provides advice on how to make the most of this layoff by focusing on the importance of prayer, exercise, volunteering, etc. In addition, advice is given from Christian Counseling Associates.
Chapter 3 teaches the reader how to seek and recognize God's will, in addition to offering practical tips on how to get organized for a job search, file for unemployment, and provides approximately 30 pages of job search engine web sites from the Internet.
Chapter 4 addresses money matters, and includes advice given from Abundant Life Christian Credit Counseling (a Christian-based debt management service).
Chapter 5 discusses nine important lessons to be learned from a layoff.
Chapter 6 reveals how God will use this experience to produce the fruits of the Holy Spirit, as outlined in Galatians 5:22.
Chapter 7 is written to the family member or friend of the layoff victim, and offers advice on how to help their loved one during this time. A reality-based "Survivor" challenge is posed to the family member or friend, which if they're brave enough to take it on, will benefit not only them, but their loved one as well. Advice is also provided for spouses from Christian Counseling Associates.
Chapter 8 is a Q&A chapter from the lead pastors of several ministries around the U.S., to gain insight as to how layoffs affect the Body of Christ. Advice is given to spouses and family members as part of this chapter.
Throughout the entire manuscript, in addition to Scripture, I include brief personal moments of my own layoff experiences as a way of gaining credibility with the reader, and invoking a sense of true empathy. After all, I am a single mom undergoing a layoff for the second time.
Marketing features
I am primarily an oil & gas industry editor, who has undergone not one layoff, but two. During the first layoff (1994-1996), I came to know and trust the Lord, received His free gift of salvation, and was able to learn first-hand, that all of His promises are true. At the end of the experience, I was blessed with the career change I'd always dreamed of: secretary to writing full-time for a living (which I have done ever since).
Shortly after being laid off on Oct. 31, due to a reduction in workforce, the Lord gave me this book to write, which I have now done. My reaction to this layoff (versus the first one) is one of excitement because I know it means God has something better for me in mind. I also know that He is faithful and trustworthy to provide for me during this time, which is so beautifully doing.
Marketing Opportunities:

I wrote two series of stories about three little lambs in a sheepfold and the good Shepherd who cares for them. Each story illustrates a truth from the Bible. The first set of eight stories center around a truth that Jesus spoke in the book of Luke. The second set of eight stories center on verses from Proverbs. All are witten in verse form. There is one verse per page, with a picture for each verse. All are colorfully illustrated. They teach the gentle and firm love of Jesus. They also appeal to children with fun action and stories and lessons that they can relate too.
A sample from the story, "The Joker" (Bible verse: Thoughtless words can wound as deeply as any sword, but wisely spoken words can heal. Prov. 12:18)......
But Stephen soon ran out of jokes
Of silly common things.
So sometimes he would make them laugh
with jokes that came with stings.
One day when he was joking
His stinging words went deep,
When he joked about how Matthew
Sucks his hooves when he's asleep.
Matthew hung his head in shame
And slowly walked away.
The laughter of the other lambs
Hurt more than he could say.
He crawled right in the Shepherd's arms
While tears ran down his face.
He needed words of comfort
To get over this disgrace.
The Shepherd spoke with heavy heart
How He too, had borne shame.
But God's grace was sufficient
And His healing always came.
The Shepherd told how Proverbs says
How deeply words can wound.
Thoughtless words are like a sword
And sometimes lives are ruined.

I have been a born again Christian for over 30 years and have taught Sunday school for 13 years. I've used these books in my Sunday School class, and let other teachers use them. The kids love them and always want to hear another one. They also understand the lesson and teaching in each one. I felt God led me to write these stories when I was recovering from heart surgery. My sister, who illustrated them also felt the leading and annointing of the Lord as she worked on them.

The heroin of my book, Ashlyn Bowerman, is a young woman living in the early Eighteen Hundreds in Boston. With the tragic murder of her husband, she is left alone and expecting a child. She decides to return home to her parents in England, aboard one of the first Steamships. But during the course of the voyage, tragedy once again strikes, and she is shipwrecked with some of the other passengers, one of whom is the handsome stranger she met aboard the ship, and whose face has begun to fill her dreams at night.
This story tells of her courageous survival through incredible odds and circumstances. On the Island, where she is shipwrecked, Ashlyn grows to love the people she is with, as family. She also discovers that God does things for a reason and that if we trust in him, he will eventually reveal his purpose.
A series of intricate happenings occur during the story; a new life begins, one is ended, and many others are enriched. While Ashlyn struggles to deal with the hand that she has been dealt, somewhere along the way, she realizes that happiness can be found anywhere if the condition of your heart is right.
Through it all, Ashlyn must learn that only by trusting in, and leaning on God will she come through victorious. And in the end, she finds true love, as well as the peace and security that only God can give.

First of all, I must admit that I am not a writer! I became involved in a situation, which required me to write many letters. These letters were put into an unfinished manuscript. The letter writing changed subject matter and under the direction and guidance of the Holy Spirit another manuscript was created and titled "Essays and Letters for Hope". This was evaluated and I was advised to put my manuscript into chapters; however, it wasn't inspired in that order. Since all of these writings came from the Holy Spirit, I don't feel that it is proper for me to make changes.
Several other booklets are finished and may need to be incorporated into this present manuscript.
A publisher, who will work with me to accomplish this, is what I need.
These materials offer Hope and encouragement to others who need it for a fruitful life in this world and preparation for eternity.

Raney Days is set in the summer of Raney's 16th year. She is depicted as a head strong and determined young girl. Using Christian morals and humor, I take her through difficult situations, temptations, and relationships.
Raney is an only child and lives with her parents in Miller Bay, a fictional town on the coast of Florida. Her best friend is Joe who lives across the street. She is a member of the youth group at her church and tries to do the right thing, make wise decisions and stay out of trouble, learning a few valuable lessons about maturity along the way.
Marketing features
This being my first book, my experience has come from writing/critical thinking classes and advice from a relative and others who have published their work. Raney Days recieved a good review from the editors at Writers Edge, but they stated that it should show a stronger sense of spirituality, that the main character should not only be obedient, but do so for spiritual reasons. I intend to make these changes which I feel can only improve my book, as I am a Christian myself and refuse to take out the references to the Lord, prayer, and church that are already present in the book, in order to sell it in the secular world.

I am a retired academic whose entire professional career, spanning forty-three years (1956-1999), was spent teaching both at the undergraduate and the graduate levels. The final twenty-eight years of my teaching career were devoted to training teachers in the areas of English and Reading Education, therefore, my previous publications reflect that activity.
Although my previous publications reflect my professional, academic training and interests, I am well-qualified to write a book that is more Spiritual than professional, whose truths though not quantifiable in the academic sense of the word are not less valid. My study of Scriptures, denominational positions held, Personal Spiritual experiences with the Holy Spirit as well as church-related speaking engagements--all have contributed to qualify me to write this book.
Essentially, "Life Lessons from the Garden" is a first-person narrative of communication with God's Holy Spirit and the Lessons taught and learned in the familiar, common place setting of a vegetable garden. When reviewing books with which Life Lessons will compete in the marketplace. I have selected the following two titles because they reflect, to greater or lesser degree, these major characteristics of "Life Lessons" because they were published recently and they are bestsellers which are still attracting sales.

Beulah grew up in the rural Quaker farming community of Phlox, Indiana in the late 1800's. Her dreams of romance led her to engage in pre-marital sex with Gannon, a non-Quaker. After she became pregnant and married Gannon, she was disowned by the Quaker meeting. Their first child, Jessie, married David, an ordained minister and Christian.
Three years after David and Jessie's first child was born, Jessie went to work for their doctor, and then had an affair with him. She hoped to elope to the Bahamas with him. Instead, Sean, who was clearly David's child, was born and her affair ended. She immediately rejected Sean.
When David and Jessie moved their family to a small farm, Jessie began to beat Sean for reasons that were often unclear to him. The physical abuse stopped when they moved back to the city.
Meanwhile, Jane was born in Texas to a family whose patriarch became an abusive alcoholic while she was a child. At nine, her older brother began to molest her. To escape his abuse, she ran away to California, and met Tony, an altruist who attempted to help her. After Jane developed physically, their filial love became physical, as Jane initiated intimacy with Tony. Tony committed suicide in an attempt to avoid hurting Jane.
While Jane was in California, Sean attended college, met and fell in love with Anita who tried to help him heal from his mother's abuse. Sean eventually destroyed their relationship rather than reciprocate her unconditional love, and married Betty, whose mother had treated her like a doll for the nine years prior to the birth of her youngest daughter.
Betty, a professing Christian whose only real goal was to have a "doll" herself, began to verbally and emotionally abuse Sean as soon as she knew she was pregnant with their first child. Sean gave everything he had to his marriage and family, to no avail and they separated when his employer transferred him to Texas. They divorced six years later.
During that time, Sean began in earnest his search for understanding and healing, with the aid of Jack, his neighborhood mechanic and a strong Christian.
In Texas, Sean crossed paths with Jane, whose life had become a continual search for pleasure. Jane seduced Sean after several months, and then left him broken-hearted. However, she recognized that he was a good friend to her, and continued to call him from time to time until he told her not to call him again, in a way she could assimilate.
Sean eventually succeeded in his search for healing through God's grace and mercy, personal prayer and Bible study and Biblical counseling.
Jane died at the hands of her last lover.

My daughter Nola's injuries from a car accident result in a year-long coma, extensive rehabilitation and permanent mental and physical disabilities. This book takes the reader through these experiences she and her family experience. It puts emphasis on faith, being part of a Christian community, the power of prayer and the sanctity of life. It describes dealings with medical doctors, therapists and other service providers who are both crucial to her survival and rahabilitation, but also at times in conflict with the family's beliefs and desires. It presents the joys of care-giving as well as its challenges. It tells of Nola's own love of life, her frustrations, the amazing role of music in her life, her ability to communicate in spanish as well as english, her undamaged faith and her inspiring ways.

I am a mother of five and Nola's main care-giver. My husband, who writes two chapters in the book (On Suffering and on Doctors) is an ordained minister in the Christian Reformed Church. We both studied at Calvin Collge, a liberal arts college in Grand Rapids, MI. I obtained a degree in Elementary Education and taught fourth grade while my husband finished Calvin Seminary. Then we spent 18 years as church planting missionaries in Puerto Rico. (Nola was born in Puerto Rico and learned spanish along with english.) We have both written articles, but this is our first attempt to write a book. My sister, known for her literary abilities, has assisted in the proof-reading, editing and offering of suggestions along the way. This book shoul be of interest and encouragement to people in general, but particularly to anyone dealing with brain injury or other disabilities--the survivors themselves, their families, care-givers and professionals. It also includes two poems, sharing by siblings of their relationship to Nola, and photos.

Amanda learned that her husband was bisexual, and although she loved him dearly, had trouble believing his promise to be faithful to her.
She stayed with him, kept his secret, and tried to be the best wife possible. For many years, their life together seemed ideal. When one of their young, unmarried friends became pregnant, she allowed Jerry and Amanda to adopt her child. However, when their oldest child had a son out of wedlock, Jerry would not acknowledge him. It was very hard for Amanda to respect her husband, since he had taken in a child that was not even his, but refused to have any contact with his own flesh and blood. That trial proved to be small, when compared to the pain he put his family and friends through, when he decided to reveal his secret to the world. The fallout upon their whole family was tremendous, especially to their children. When he left home to "find himself", Amanda realized that she could not allow his lifestyle to destroy her children. She prayerfully filed for divorce, knowing that her life would never be the same. She had great faith in God's provision, because she had experienced throughout her life, that regardless of the pain, God's grace had always remained.

Through out our world, many adults wake nightly to the remembrances of their abusive childhood. The adults of today who endured such horrific events in their past are subjected daily to memories of pain, abuse, and unhappy childhoods. These are events that are forever engrained in their memories.
Now comes a look into the life of one victim of child abuse. Because of the events and situation of his past, Spencer has been diagnosed as suffering from Post-Traumatic Stress Syndrome.
This is a disease similar to what the veterans of Vietnam encountered after having fought in the jungles of South East Asia.
Every page of this gripping story tells of the traumatic events that touched the life of Spencer between seven and fifteen years old.
At seven he was shaken out of his bed in the middle of the night by screaming, crying, and yelling at the entryway of his happy home. At such a young and precious age he was suddenly asked to make a decision to leave his happy home. This would be the swing decision that opened the floodgates to hell in a newly formed dysfunctional family to come.
Between seven and fifteen Spencer will be tormented, belittled, mentally abused, and physically abused by his stepfather. This book will tell the true story of the destructive battles and violent storms in his home. From minor squabbles of spaghetti bowls thrown, to major nerve clinching battles of Russian roulette played out by his stepfather.
He touches on his role models, heroes, and others who deserted him and were unable to protect or care for Spencer.
Throughout the pages of this inspirational story of survival you will share Spencer's plights and personal survival abilities. Near the end of the book you will see that the continuous mental abuse takes it toll on Spencer and he reverts to sudden and ultimate survival by standing up to his stepfather and regaining his ability to survive our world.
The author shares with you whom actually Saved Spencer. It's not who you might think as you are engaged in reading the stories throughout this inspirational book.
Because of the repeated memories of this abuse that echo through the hollows of his mind, he is inclined to share this adventure with the reader. By putting these painful events down on paper, Spencer can help to allow the scabs of yesterday to really heal. On the other hand, the readers who engage their mind in this book may come away with a personal story of someone who was able to survive abuse and move on. The words, events, and stories may allow someone else to heal him or herself from their own abusive childhood.
Our world is overflowing with broken families. This book is timely because is hits right at home about how the child feels within this highly volatile and abusive environment. It gives you the voice that could never be heard back when Spencer was a child.
Our inner cities are exploding with families that are missing the nucleus for survival, the father figure. The goal of this book will be to offer hope to others who have gone through these abusive events as a child or know someone who has or is going through similar abusive relationships today. In a world gone mad with selfishness this book is timely to help and combat further hurt and scars upon the inhabitant of our shared world.

The year is 1924. Elisabeth Wallace returns home to Napa Valley after a five year sojourn to St. Louis, where she became one of the first women in America to receive a degree in veterinary science. A long lost letter is found during the refurbishing of the post office, stuck behind some old cabinets. The letter is from Albert, a man she once loved and had planned to marry, before she saw another girl in his arms. That incident caused Elisabeth to flee to St. Louis to try to forget Albert. Elisabeth quotes her favorite Bible verse, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me," then reads the letter. The letter only causes Elisabeth more confusion about what happened all those years ago. It also opens up a flood of emotions she thought she had quelled years before.
Elisabeth meets the son of a prominent rancher and spends time with him, while getting reacquainted with the people from her hometown. Some of the people are still very dear to her, others still an annoyance. Elisabeth is able to rebuild a friendship that was lost before she left Napa. She encounters Albert and his wife and children at church, and is overcome with emotion from seeing him again. Elisabeth finds that the best thing she can do is draw on her faith to get her through the day to day life back in Napa Valley, where she is constantly reminded of her lost love.
There is a mystery involved in the plot; a man has been attacking women in the community. Elisabeth's father, Amos, is protective of her, and encourages her relationship with young Mike McWilliams. He hopes Mike will help her to forget Albert, and that she will get on with her life, as he has. A widower himself, Amos is seeing Florence Willoughby.
Elisabeth spends more time with Mike, sometimes at his parent's ranch. Several times Mike comes to Elisabeth's rescue in difficult situations. Elisabeth is grateful, but still is not in love with him.
Realizing that his daughter is very unhappy, Amos takes her to San Francisco to visit her mother's sister. Having lost her mother to cancer while she was in school in St. Louis, Elisabeth welcomes the visit with her aunt. An outbreak of "Foot and Mouth" disease back in Napa Valley forces them to leave San Francisco earlier than planned. Elisabeth and the old veterinarian, Dr. Turner, do all they can to help the ranchers to save their cattle. One of the ranchers that lost his faith finds it again. Amos marries Florence Willoughby, and leaves the home place to Elisabeth.
Elisabeth thinks of a way to discover the identity of the attacker. The attacker is caught. Much of the mystery of the story is revealed along with the identity of the man, when he gives a signed confession to the sheriff. Elisabeth finds hope she thought was lost forever. She is married in her home church. When her new husband carries her over the threshold, they both look up to see the carving her father has placed over the door as their wedding gift. Together they read the words, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."

I have been reading books and writing stories and poetry since I was a child. I was the editor of the school paper, and during my career of twenty five years in sales and marketing, have had articles published in newspapers and magazines. I have traveled extensively and have prominent friends and contacts throughout the United States who are eager to help me market my books in their areas. I received an endorsement of my writing from the president of the American Family Association, who has radio stations throughout the United States, and does interviews on air to help promote writers, both of books and of music. He is a published author, and reviewed my book and gave me a glowing recommendation, as did Dr. Dan Baumann, who has had eight books published, one which is currently used for teaching in seminaries throughout the USA. Sally Stuart has reviewed my writing and given me great encouragement about it, although she can't do endorsements. I live in Florida in the fastest growing planned development in the United States, with a vast media that is more than willing to promote the book for me; ie: television, radio, newspaper, and speaking engagements. I have worked with the state Attorney General's office doing speaking on Crimes Against Senior Citizens, and have done many major fundraisers for Hospice. I am the founder of "Carriages and Couture", a fundraiser for Hospice that will have over 1,000 people attending in one evening who are interested in my writing. I have attended various Christian writer's workshops and belong to Christian Writer's Guild, and have belonged to others in the past. I love my Lord, and I love to write for Him.

Hard to write about "New Good News" of the Bible when in 40 years of ministry you have only one theme to preach on as the Apostle John reminds in John 3:16, however there is one sure-fire approach to truth and honesty and that is to write so that your own children will read what you honestly believe. While Christian scientists may be in the field endeavoring to postulate the science of the soul I open my manuscript with the theory that since science agrees with the Bible in Ex. 10:21 they know dark matter exists but cannot be proven, then what we have is dark matter; in a void that cannot contain or restrain anything; expanding at a rate of speed that creates infinite energy; energy that creates light; then limiting the energy to 186,282 mi. per. sec., so that it is forced to contain itself so severely it has no alternative but to create a mass . . . a mass-ive explosion . . . the
Big Bang of science, or the opposite of Einsteins theory that would be M = E/Csquared. The end time being the Energy of matter having only one objective to return to its origional spave, and does so in the origional Theory of Relativity as E = MCsquared. The release of that energy will return the light to the unidentifiable darkness that filled the void in which the heavens and earth were created, by GOD.

The book presents a lighthearted approach to the trials and tribulations of ranching by an engineer turned rancher assisted by his wife, who was raised on a farm. Together they use wisdom and experience to solve daily problems and occasionally witness miracles as sheep and calves survive in spite of difficulties after birth. A book for the whole family.

Lane has 20+ years of ranching experience and through the course of many difficult births he has been able to write many articles which were published in "Sheep" magazine. I was a trainer for 10 years at a bank and met people constantly from different backgrounds. I moved into a new position as a Business Analyst and gained even more exposure to people than before. This is a verse by verse devotional in a difficult epistle. That choice was deliberate in order to enable the reader to dine on the meat of the Word for 10 - 15 minutes per day instead of using the usual 5 in many devotionals. This is designed to give Christians that full and satisfied feeling which promotes growth in the Christian life. While 10- 15 minutes isn't very long, it sure beats nothing which too often is the case when facing a difficult but nourishing epistle instead of the Psalms or Gospels which is the usual devotional fare - especially when the reader is short on quality time.

"Can Prisons and Prisoners Be Saved?" is a book written by a volunteer teacher who, without a guard, taught rapists, murderers, drug lords and burglars in a maximum security prison. Why did they show respect and appreciation for her? Helga Swanson saw that many of them had become criminals because of their low self-esteem, and she found a lot of good in them as they shared their remorse over what they had done.
Unfortunately, after a year and a half, she, along with the other volunteers, was asked to leave. Why? Because prison officials felt it was too risky to continue. While she was away, two of the inmates had become sexually involved with two volunteer teachers.
For the last seven years Swanson has corresponded with six former student inmates who she felt had much potential. 1000 letters reveal the heart and soul of the prisoners. Every page is filled with exciting reading about the life stories of the inmates and the funny and sad happenings in the classroom. Swanson visits prisoners, contacts their families, has gone to court and a parole hearing. She writes persuasively to the parole board and legislators.
The last part of the book concludes with an in depth study of both positive and negative aspects of the American penal system. She offers suggestions for prison reform, including how the taxpayers' money can be better spent. The lengthy incarceration of some inmates imprisoned in tiny cells twenty-four hours a day, sometimes years, allowing only two hours a week on prison grounds, reveals the inner culture of a prison.
There are over two million families of prisoners and thousands of legislators who need to read this book and take heart. Swanson is a speaker at community programs in Martin County and surrounding areas in Florida.
Potential publishers are invited to write to Helga Swanson. E-mail: helgaswan@aol.com.

This book is written to show how God saves, leads and cares for a person who comes to Him in faith as prescribed in His Word, the Holy Bible. I consider myself to be an average American female. In many ways my life has been sheltered from much evil, and I am thankful for that blessing. I have been privileged to travel, thereby having a variety of experiences which this books shares with the reader. I have moved 45 times in 56 years of life; I have been in all 50 states and have lived in 14 of them. I have many friends in many places. Some topics of interest covered are hospitality, stealing, cheating, organization, appearance, "budgetry", accidents, communication, decisions, earthquake, tornado, hurricane, fire, flood, Bible memory, discipline, travel, camping, education, self image and above all, God's provision and care are illustrated throughout in normal daily life situations. I think you, the reader, will enjoy this book; I think you will see the Hand of God at work in my life and will realize He loves you and will work for you, too.

I told my husband that my book, "Love, Madness & the Phantom Express," would never get Writer's Edge approval and that I was not going to send it to them for evaluation.
"Why not?" asked my husband, ever the optimist.
"Because it's too secular in tone and with very little Christianese until the final two chapters. Also, it's auto-biographical which is difficult to publish, and it's about a married
Christian woman who falls in love with another man, commits adultery and goes into the dark world of the occult."
"Yes, but you tell how God delivered you and brought you back to himself, and back to me."
"Yes - it's our miracle story -- but it's just too good to be true! Plus, it's about the myth of romance, something, Christian publishers of romance novels would not want to be exposed."
"But they (i.e., Writer's Edge) gave your other books a thumbs up."
"I know, but those books (i.e., "Help! I'm Minister's Wife" & "Life's Little Parables")were about my life after our re-marriage."
"OK, but I say go ahead and send it in anyway. I'm sure they'll see it is about a woman who learns from her mistakes and how God comes as the Good Shepherd to deliver her. It could help other women who have gone down the wrong path, just as you did. I think they're going to approve it. You'll see -- I'm sure I'm right." I sent it.
P.S. He was wrong.
The above conversation includes a summary of this marvelous story of God's deliverance. It takes the reader along a dark path, into a doomed romance, the world of brain chemistry gone awry and includes charismatic experiences in its conclusion.

I'm a minister's wife. I have spoken at churches and addressed Christian workshops with positive results and much encouragement to write my story, including that of two ministers at Hollywood Presbyterian Church. This is a book for women who has been fooled by the myth of romance and/or has been enchanted with the lies of the occult and need deliverance. It tells how I went into a world of darkness seeing it as beautiful, how that world fell apart, and how God began to show me the truth and drew me back to himself. There are many Christians today (especially women) who think it's fine to mix their faith with the occult, just as I did. There is hope and it is in God, our Savior.

Lyrically poetic, highly detailed retelling of God creating the Earth and Man; Adam and Eve's wondrous odyssey in The Garden of Eden, and their loving relationship with God, His creatures, and each other's highly romantic union.
Also described is Satan's rebellion against God and the war in Heaven; Satan's defeat along with his rebelling angels, their expulsion from Heaven and descent into Hell, chillingly depicted; Satan's speech in Hell to his followers of his wicked plan to take vengeance upon God by attacking and destroying God's beloved human souls; and Satan's subsequent invasion of The Garden and his successful tempting of Adam and Eve.
Adam and Eve's fall and their deep remorse is recorded, their heartbreak and plea for forgiveness from God, and His ultimate mercy and redemption is chronicled in a glorious victory over Satan; ending with God's loving promises to a forgiven Adam and Eve as they are led sadly but still joyfully out of The Garden, to fave the uncertainties of the world, with their loving God constantly at their side.

My Problems-God's Solutions
George W. Fellendorf
The book of approximately 100 pages (approximately 25,000 words) is broken up into
short (2 « page) chapters, that describe my 45 years of experience with the My Problem Card
first discovered in the pews of the Marble Collegiate Church in New York City in 1956.
Instructions for use of The My Problem Card are simple and direct. They invite the reader
to keep a supply of cards near to his Bible. At daily problems, both large and small arise, the
reader is encouraged to write them down on a card in sufficient detail to outline the situation, list
one or more possible solutions and then request a merciful and all-knowing God to reveal His
solution(s) by the circumstances the reader may encounter. The card is to be placed in the pages
of the personal Bible to be prayed about regularly as one awaits expectantly for the Lord's
answer. It has taken many years to appreciate that the Lord's answers can range from "Yes" and
"No", to "Not Now". When the answer comes, the card suggests writing the answer on the back
of the card and filing it away with praise and thanksgiving.
Over the years, I have seen clear evidence of God's overpowering love and infinitely great
power to discern what is appropriate, timely and consistent with furthering His kingdom. The
Holy Spirit has reached down to enable me to recognize tragedy turned into triumph, how
sickness can foster health, and to witness unbelievable solutions (Ephesians 3:20) to problems that
had not yielded to human intellect or insight.
My experiences have ranged from relatively minor events in guiding and directing three
daughters to adulthood to a major career change from management engineering to special
education. Included in my experiences with My Problem Cards have been learning that a daughter
was born profoundly deaf, buying and selling homes, foreign travel, leading a national
organization for deaf children and their parents, and facing up to diagnoses of cancer among
family and friends. A wealth of Bible references help to keep the reader's focus on the thoughts of
those who were inspired by God and chosen to be included in Holy Scripture.
Books on spiritual growth and development seen in the marketplace today often tend to be
more like sermons with great spiritual insight, but rather short on concrete examples of how?,
when? and why? This book will help the reader take God-inspired Sunday sermons out into the
home, the school, the business, and the social life of America in the 21st century.

The epic tale of the Lord of the Rings and the fascinating allegories within the Chronicles of Narnia have astounded the minds of readers for years, and will continue to do so for many generations to come. But now there is another series of tales wishing to be told, and although the pages of this new story hold the same powerful essence as that of Tokien's and Lewis' masterpieces, the book is fully unique.
No longer is Frodo a mythical hobbit, but a young man plagued by the shadow of evil and in desperate need of a loyal friend. Aslan is no longer a lion but one of similar nature named Gildareth. And the world is no longer Middle Earth nor Narnia, but the sweeping plains, dense forests, and plagued mountains of Arvalast.
This land is a place of many cities, and these cities are ruled by a powerful King. For many years they have been glistening in His eyes as precious jewels. But now, there lights are growing dim, and the shadow of a great enemy is darkening the hearts of their inhabitants. But the Lord of Arvalast it aware of His enemy's cunning, and knows He must intervene to stop him. So He has set His eye on the enemy's next target, a village called Woodend situated upon the northern borders of the great forest of Arvalast. Already He has sent emissaries to scout the influence of evil within this town, and is now sending another, one who has never failed Him before. So begins Avalast-Shadows in Woodend.

As an artist and a naturalist, I tend to see things from angles that differ from many other Christians. I look back on life, I look into my life and I look at the world around me with a perspective that few have and with a slant that even fewer can articulate. Having no pretension of being a great writer and armed only with a desire for the truth of the Word of God, this book is "quintessentially and exceedingly sermonesque" as one reviewer put it. Being no more than a "common" man and lacking extraordinary credentials, I will consider such as a compliment since each of the 29 chapters is an amplification of one of my own sermons. Furthermore, this description has actually served to define the direction and the makeup of this literary endeavour. Indeed, if Christian bookshelves were riddled with only the ramblings of the elite how drab and pathetic would be our perspective and how limited would be our potential! If we learn only from doctorates and dignitaries in the Christian world, "we are of all men most to be pitied" for this Christianity upon which we stand was founded upon the apostles and prophets, with Christ as the chief cornerstone. Those very prophets and apostles came from among the common people and -- though lacking eloquence and "letters", status and popularity - they were used of God.
Barring all else, this book acts as a form of encouragement to tackle some of the tougher issues facing believers today. Seldom listed as "easy reading material" and, for a variety of reasons, not easy to prepare and write either, they deal with the harsher realities - and most realities are harsh - that tend to be left unexamined in our church gatherings for fear of offending the financiers and the political icons within. As a result the North American evangelical scene has become quite addicted to soft, warm and tender messages that promote comfort and pride. In this book, however, you will be urged to roam freely within a Biblical context for it is all about breaking idols, eliminating pat answers and curing ills . the true stuff that true life is made of!

It will suit teenagers and adults. It's a good relaxing read for anyone who desires a story of suspense.

Mists of Virginia is an historical novel about the lives of very real people. I based the title on James 4:14, 'we are a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes'.(NIV) /this scripture was made painfully clear when my only sister died very suddenly and the brevity of life became an immediate reality. She was here- then she was gone. Besides the photographs and memories, what had she left? What does any ordinaty person, who had achieved no fame or amassed no fortune , leave behind? i cannot speak for others, but I know with certanity that a Christian leaves a legacy of faith.
At her funeral,as I listened to the recounting of her life by those that knew and loved her, I realized what an extraordinary life this very ordinary person had lived. I began to ponder the idea that each of us who believes id in some way a stepping stone for those who follow after us. An example, if you will, of one generation directing the next to find the path that leads to life.
we are fortunate to have in our family, an extensive history of my father's side that dates to the 1600's. The work, compiled by my uncle some years ago, is full of names, dates, and antidotes that was always interesting to look through, but never any more than that. That is, until I began viewing each of their lives as a plank in a bridge of faith that spanned the years all the way to me.
In reading aout them, I now absorbed facts that i had previously glossed over. There were children that lost a mother and had to cope with a stepmother or parents suffering through the agony of losing a child: often more than one. Today, any one of these difficulties would send many clamoring to a counselor or psychiatrist. Others would resort to medications. Through it all, these people of my past apparently not only coped with life's great trials, most perservered in their faith. This is what I wanted to convey in my novel.
Most had to cope with horrific hardships. For instance: in the same year that my great-grandfather, Oliver Taylor turned eleven, he not only lost his mother, but his father sent him away to be apprenticed to a shoemaker. I could not help thinking of the emotional turmoil he m ust have suffered through, yet he became a believer. In later life, he was married to a beautiful woman of Irish descent and she bore him eight children. Five were still living when she died and he married my great-grandmother,Alice Adoylotte. She, in turn, bore him eight more young ones. she was not the beauty that his first wife had been and this must have caused some apprehension on her part. At least, that was my interpretation.
I chose to begin in the year 1841 when Oliver Taylor was four years old, and close in 1923. That is because I had more information baginning in that period than earlier times, and besides, beginning in the 1600's would have required more than one book. The book follows through three generations of the Taylors, Powells and the Jones'.
There is adventure as James and Mary Jones make a daring escape from the man to whom she had indentured herself in order to pay for her passage from Wales. I have already mentioned the plight of Oliver Taylor. I speculated that his father must have been a man of cold emotion in order to be able to send away an eleven-year-old child after he lost his mother. the book deals with that strained relationship.
The Powells are proud of their long heritage on the Shore. They are true Americans, not recent immigrants. He keeps hidden the fact that his grandparents had remained loyal to the English during the fight for independence.
In later years, the snobbish James Powell comes to term with the fact that his fourth child, Sally Ann, is very taken with the oldest son of the immigrants from Wales. When Sidney Jones rescues the young Sally from a bully at a church picnic, James' attitude begins to change.
Sally Ann and Sidney will have a large family and she will die a few m onths after the birth of their eleventh child. William Clarence is thirteen at the time of his mother's death and faces a crisis of faith. He will forever be a strong believer. As a young man, he will live in New York City for five years, but his faith will only grow stronger. After becoming engaged to the firl that he believes to be the love of his life, he is forced to break it off when it becomes apparent that she does not share his faith. He returns to hi father's farm in Virginia, where he rediscovers the youngest daughter of Oliver Taylor.
Beulah is ten years his junior and was but a girl when he left for New York. She has changed dramatically. they will marry in 1910 and will have five children. Only four will live.
I began the book at my sister's funeral reflecting on these people of the past and return there to end it the book. the Bible, of course, accurately describes us as mists that quickly vanish, sor indeed we are. IN this novel, it was not just the brevity of life that I wanted to explore, but how ordinary people, such as ourselves, could live extraordinary lives and be examples of faith for those that followed after them. I consider myself fortunate to have the seeds of Christianity extend so deeply into my family roots. I believe this novel to be not only entertaining reading. but will provide encouragement and amplify the reader's own faith.

I believe this novel can be marketed as a support to families, and as I portray the plight of women in the past, and how they coped, they will no doubt be a large part of the market.

Both of them die as a result of their injuries and Matt finds himself in a position that he has never been in before. He can't seem to perform his duties as a surgeon. Each time he enters the operating room the memories from that night flood back. God has a plan for him to teach at a hospital in Kansas where he meets Amy, a nursing student who is going through her own struggle. Amy is involved with Eric, the son of Dr. Saunders, the Chief of Staff at the same hospital where Matt is teaching.
Eric asks Amy to marry him and she reluctantly says yes. Her desire for a big family and her love for Eric's parents is enough for her to say that she will marry him even if she is attracted to Dr. Conrad. Eric is involved in illegal activity and is trying to do anything he possibly can to keep Matt Conrad away from Amy, even offering him a job in a different country to head up a clinic that he had built in honor of Amy's parents. While Matt is in Central America looking at the possibility of taking the position at the clinic, Amy reads a note that Matt has left for her. In the note he expresses his love for her, so Amy follows him . Not knowing about the illegal dealings of her fiance' Amy walks in on a disagreement and is shot. Matt being the only doctor in the city has to do what he has feared, he has to be the one to try and save the woman he loves, and hopefully this time he will succeed so he and Amy can have a life together.

A cry from the depth of an agonized soul---"Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom," has echoed down throughout the ages. This utterance from an unknown, yet whose prescence is resurrected when the Passion story is told each Easter, raises an eternal question; "Who is this man?"
This timeless question and mystery is unlocked in the Biblically and fictionally based novel entitled THE MALEFACTOR---A tale of the Good Thief on The Cross.
Born in Bethlehem, forced to flee to Gaille, fishes with Simon, strangles a Roman soldier, forced to flee and joins Barabbas' Zealot army, captured in Jerusalem, hangs on a cross with one he first encountered in Bethlehem. Dysmas is his name.

If you were to die in 30 seconds, do you know where you would spend eternity? Heaven or hell? A pastor asked Eric that question once. Even though he thought the answer was heaven, the truth is he would have burned in hell.
Sex, girls, and beer become Eric's main desires once he moves out of his parents' house. The 22-year-old doesn't know Christ and doesn't care to either. However, his new girlfriend, Kristin, nags him to attend church with her, so he does for a few weeks. Although he questions some of his beliefs during this time, he loses interest in pleasing God once Kristin dumps him. Upset, he takes pleasure in a one-night stand but is terrified when he later develops STD symptoms. Now knowing he is at a greater risk for having contracted HIV also, he turns toward the Bible in hopes God will bless him with excellent health if he studies his Word. But something changes inside him as he reads. He soon craves not only to understand the gospel but also to apply it in his life.
After worrying for several weeks, Eric is relieved to learn he doesn't have the life-threatening disease. Within the same month, he accepts Christ as his Savior. He strives to live for the Lord and to not abuse his grace. It's saddening for Eric to hear his friends tell him they no longer want to associate with such a godly man. Even his only sibling, Denise, says he's been brainwashed and wants her "old" brother back. Though his mom bears listening to his new Christianity views, his dad wants absolutely nothing to do with church.
In addition to dealing with his family's criticism, Eric gets laid off from his job. He finds himself depressed and struggles with society again. He reenters the bar scene and thinks alcohol will help him cope with his problems. Unfortunately, Eric's troubles haven't even begun yet. Satan takes advantage of his vulnerability and sends sexual temptation his way. Eric realizes he's not yet strong enough to resist alluring women such as Ashley, especially once he invites her back to his apartment, where she ends up spending the night.
Shortly afterward, the number "666" freakishly appears in various places, which leads Eric to believe he has lost his salvation. He plummets to his knees and sincerely repents for engaging in premarital sexual relations. With his behavior now changed for the better, he fully devotes himself to the Lord. Though it's a bumpy road, Eric witnesses both Denise and his mother receive Christ. His biggest challenge will be his father.
Eric begins to tithe every week and to pray before each meal. A business opportunity comes his way, and he's making more money now than he was through his former employer. With everything going great, he visits a popular church but is quickly appalled when he believes the pastor is leading the congregation to hell!
Knowing he must fulfill his duties as a Christian, he asks God what he can do to aid this fallen society toward Christ. God answers and instructs him to spread his testimony. Eric carries out his calling and writes a book based on it. He titles it The Narrow Door.

Being 25 years old, I have seen firsthand how society has grasped the college-aged population. Many are distancing themselves from God because they want to live life on their own terms. But as most actions do, rebelling against God has repercussions. My goal with The Narrow Door is to help young adults realize the door into heaven is much narrower than the majority assume.
I am now strong in my faith and have shared my testimony in local churches. I would also be willing to promote my book in the same fashion when that time comes.

The Spot of Blood is a story steeped in mystery and intrigue. It revolves around a tightly knit family, the Elliots, during the 1950's and 60's when their Children become entangled in the murder of a prominent local businessman. The Elliot's live and work out of funeral home in Tacoma, Washington, located close to the cities bustling waterfront and train yards. When tragedy befalls their daughter, Stacy, the family is nearly shattered, but together they cling to their faith and each other to overcome.
The story begins when John Elliot moves his family into an apartment above Lynn Funeral Home where he is employed as an undertaker and funeral director. Their children, Stacy and Terry, soon find the near by waterfront and train yards as a source for exploration. There they meet Maximillion, the King of the Hoboes. He shows them the shantytown where he lives, and they in turn invite him to the funeral home. A simple act of kindness by Dagmar, their mother, helps to establish a life long friendship between him and their family.
When Terry becomes a teenager he begins to help his father with his work. On one particular occasion they are called in the middle of the night to Point Defiance Park to pick up the body of a man who committed suicide. He was found in his brand new Lincoln Continental running with a hose in the window connected to the exhaust pipe. After getting the man back to the mortuary and while undressing him for embalming they notice a spot of blood on his crisp white shirt collar along with a pinhole in the shirt and neck. Finding this highly unusual John calls the corners office to address his findings, but instead of getting a logical explanation, he instead gets a harsh warning and a demand to forget anything he saw. For the protection of his family John decides to let it go, but only after saving a sample of the man's blood. Terry, however, secretly confides with Stacy and her friend Kevin who works as a news reporter for the News Tribune. Together, along with the help of Maximillion, they began their own investigation into the case. Their sleuth work eventually leads them into an underworld of corruption that penetrates to the highest level of the city government and has it roots to the beginning of the city when the founders were bringing in slave labor from China. In their investigation Stacy meets with a life threatening tragedy that renders her paralyzed. This terrible accident changes all of their lives and ultimately challenges Stacy's faith and belief in God.
Through years of self-abuse she struggles to find meaning to her life, and although she gives up on herself, the family that loves her and Kevin, the man who came to love her, does not. Eventually with her family's and Kevin's continued support and a chance meeting with Pastor Whitehead she is drawn back to God where finds the inner strength to put the pieces of her life back together again.

Hope and Hilarity contains a collection of short narratives written to touch the heart and tickle the funny bone all at the same time. In my role as storyteller I've discovered that making people laugh is relatively easy, I just tell them how my day is going. When you spend most afternoons looking after dogs, cats and an assortment of ten-year-olds, you know I'm going to have some stories to tell. Following my diagnosis with Parkinson's disease at age fifty-four, I prayed my shortest prayer "HELP" and God opened up new windows of opportunity to provide inspiration and encouragement to others through writing. My main intention in writing this book is to help the reader trust in the mercy of God, and laugh their way into heaven.

Socially inept mystery novelist Stern Blankley finds himself in the crisis of his life as he returns to the town of his youth to research his latest novel. He re-connects with newspaper editor and newly converted Amber Greene, the passion of his adolescence, who had dumped him for football hero Heath Proctor twenty-eight years earlier.
In a tenuous collaboration with Amber, Stern begins his search into the long buried past of the upstate New York town of Hollister in an effort to uncover the details surrounding Heath's untimely and shocking death. He finds his focus on writing challenged as he falls in love with Amber once again. The romance is cut short by her sudden and brutal murder, which lands Stern in the county jail as the prime suspect - bitterly renouncing God.
Feared and hated, District Attorney Hiram Morton Fenley II, is about to begin his cruel assault on Stern, who languishes in guilt and hopelessness, awaiting trial. Independently of each other, two unlikely characters emerge: a local autobody expert, and an assistant librarian from a suburb of Baltimore, Maryland. Together they solve the msytery of Heath's death and bring to justice Amber's killer, moments before he strikes again. Ironically, the perpetrator of the murders is the same person - the alienated son of the D.A., and former classmate of Stern, Amber and Heath.
The story traces Blankley's life from skepticism, to disillusionment, to true faith, and demonstrates God's providential and redemptive plan in a poignant, triumphant drama combining romance, humor, tragedy and justice.

This non-fiction book is written for the successful "up-and-outers" who don't know Jesus Christ personally and do not recognize God's call for salvation. The purpose of the book is to share a story and to point the way to salvation by identification with another "up-and-outer's" journey.
Summary Description: People who are successful in achieving all of their goals all of their lives have difficulty identifying with the testimonies or biographies of people who have experienced salvation through a "down-and-out" experience, such as drug abuse, alcoholism, divorce, or the death of some one close. In other words, salvation through some major life crisis.
This book aims at those who don't even know they are lost from God because they do not experience a need for something greater than themselves to rescue them from a situation that they cannot handle; but, nevertheless, are experiencing a lack of inner peace and emptiness which they usually do not share with anyone else. These success-oriented people are basically good people who have no real sense of sin in their lives. These people are not being fulfilled by their success and do not recognize that their lack of inner peace and emptiness is the call of God inwardly for their soul. The journey of another "up-and-outer" takes the lost person in success through the signs and symptoms of that lostness to discover what is God's grace and will in their lives

In conclusion, the deep valley that Sharena suddenly finds herself in will force her to trust and become closer to the Lord in a way she has never known before. "A Higher Power" will hopefully challenge the reader to do the same.

I'm a songwriter by nature, I also like to write poetry. I haven't had anything published yet, but I have been writing for quite some time. Other than that, I guess I'm pretty much one of the new kids on the block as far as marketing and promotion is concerned.

Awake through the fulfillment of these biblical prophecies by April 2005--i.e., the specific outcomes (mentioned below) of the sixth Arab-Israeli war! These will likely come about in the failure of the road map to peace and/or war with Syria:
1. Israel will possess Syrian land all the way past Damascus!
2. Israel will wrongly drive the Palestinians into Jordan.
3. Israel will viciously possess Jordanian land east of the Jordan River (the East Bank) and burn the bones of King Abdullah II to lime. This may mean a nuclear attack on Amman, but the author hopes not.
[In addition to being a prophetic book, MESSIAH: 2030 claims that Genesis 1:3ff. indicates that God gradually moved the earth to its present orbit from a more distant orbit from 3970 to 3966 BC (i.e., the creation "week" was seven years long, as per the Book of Jubilees)--this better explains the ice ages and supports the gap theory (without evolution): that "God created the heavens" probably 13.7 billion years ago "and the earth" 4.5 billion years ago, but no vegetation until "day" (year) three (3968 BC) and that He likely tilted the earth's axis at the Flood (2309 BC). It further claims that Eden was at the site of Jerusalem, supported by biblical arguments and oldest village settlements at Abu Ghosh (Adam, Eve and Seth) and oldest city at Jericho (Cain).]
The author believes Scripture teaches that we at the end of time (but not the apostles--Acts 1:7) can know the year of the Second Coming, but not the day and hour (e.g., see Dan. 12:4; Mt. 24:48-50; 1 Thess. 5:4; Rev. 3:3; Rev. 9:15).
MESSIAH: 2030 claims that biblical and historical chronology clearly point to God having a seven-millennia plan and timeline, as Elijah's school of the prophets and the Church Fathers believed, thus the basis for the following years on the front cover:
MESSIAH: 2030
CLUNY: 1030
JESUS: 30
DAVID: 970
ABRAHAM: 1970
NOAH: 2970
ADAM: 3970
By the way, the author believes the seventh millennium is simply the first thousand years of the eternal state.
(The Jewish calendar is wrong. It is not year 5764--it is 5974. Its biggest error is assigning 420 years between the dedication of the second temple in 515 BC and its destruction in 70 AD, clearly 585 years.)
Second, MESSIAH: 2030 claims that back to back figures of Israel's four "days" or millennia (1970 BC-2030 AD) run right through the Scriptures, from Genesis to Revelation. Actually, the author believes that this hermeneutic properly interprets Rev. 20, though that text is not in the book. The following texts are: Genesis 1:1-2:3, Isaiah 30:23-26, Amos 1:1-2:3 and John 5:1-5.
In the context of these texts, MESSIAH: 2030 also claims that the Bible prophesied the fall of the WTC towers and provides a meaning for it, that the Bible prophesies the Israeli-Palestinian conflict will erupt into a sixth Arab-Israeli war (with specific outcomes!) and be over by April 2005, that the third temple will be finished in Jerusalem about 2020, and that the Jewish Antichrist will come out of a ten-nation Commonwealth of Independent States (daughter of the USSR).
After the sixth Arab-Israeli war is over by April 2005, Israel will have about twenty years of peace and preaching, before the Resurrection and Rapture in 2023/24. This is the time that the job of preaching the gospel "to every nation and tribe and tongue and people" (Rev. 14:6) will be finished.

The back cover of my self-published book lists some marketing points:
In Messiah: 2030--an astounding, bold and very biblically focused little book--Clive Douglas Campbell makes the case that biblical and historical chronology, as well as the figurative meanings of biblical texts, indicate the year but not the day and hour of the coming of the Messiah, God1s King Who is coming to reign. In addition to a strong case being made for God's seven-millennia plan and timeline, Campbell puts forward some astounding new thoughts:
* Between probably 4 1/2 billion B.C. and 3966 B.C., the earth was further from the sun.
* The creation "week," which began in 3970 B.C., was seven years long.
* The moon is a figure for the Holy Spirit in the fourth "day" of the creation "week."
* The garden of Eden was at the site of Jerusalem.
* God likely tilted the earth's axis at the Flood.
* The World Trade Center Towers are alluded to in the Bible and have a meaning.
* The sixth Arab-Israeli war will be over by April 2005.
* Animal sacrifices at a rebuilt temple in Jerusalem will begin about 2020.
* At the Rapture, in 2023, the Lord will return with Moses and Elijah, both who have immortal bodies, to receive "the dead in Christ" and those "who are alive and remain," respectively.
* The Antichrist will come out of a ten-nation C.I.S.

The Worm Within The Skull
Content:
The Worm With the Skull is not a pleasant little tale of redemption in a faraway land. It is adult Christian fiction / fantasy. The temptations in it, and the evil portrayed, are strong. Lawrence, the protagonist, does not merely face some menacing warlock or sorcerer (as in Harry Potter), he faces the devil himself in the person of Rohrsgord, lord of the underworld. And he faces Lilith, the arch-seductress. And he‛s no match for her. He‛s a man, a minister, who‛s lost his faith—when his ambition and selfishness cost the life of his wife and child in the Colorardo River. He has also, it would seem, fallen from grace as well.
He is not ready to be the "Light-bearer" to this strange dark world he finds himself in. He fails, over and over again. He fails the Segullim who save his life. He fails the woman warrior who cares for him–he gets her killed. He‛s no match for the lost-souled Shedim or the scuttling, decaying monsters the Dardanai have become. He‛s not even a match for Arthur and Lilina, the two strange ‟children‟ who play on his guilt and conspire with their mother Lilith to claim his soul for Rohrsgord.
Lawrence the adventurer and mercenary soldier has fought all over the world, his world, but here he can‛t cope with what he faces . . . until at last he realizes that the only hope is for him to cry out in helplessness to Shiloah, the One who first called him to this land and the one who gave him the white stone.

The Lover’s Dream (The Song of Solomo
Content:
Song of Solomon 1:2(a).
“May he kiss me with the kisses of his mouth!”
The Shulamite woman uttered a desperate cry! She was in need of a deeper and closer relationship with her lover. Hoping, trusting, believing that her cry would touch the very core of his heart. She longed for his tender touch and strong arms to comfort her. It had been a long and weary road. Too long! She needed to get closer to the man to whom she was about to marry. Close enough to experience his love. She needed to know him more. Would he listen and respond to the cry of her heart, “May he kiss me with the kisses of his mouth?”
She could never have dreamed how these dynamic words would impact her own life. As this love song enfolded, their relationship was about to change and unify their hearts to unconditional love for each other. She was ready to follow him wherever he may lead.
A cry like this to the Lover of our soul, the Lord Jesus Christ, has great impact and power to change our lives forever. He is ready and willing and patiently waiting for us to follow Him; yet unless we respond to the wooing of His Spirit, there can be no change of heart. He is the One Who opened the way to the Father; therefore the cry comes from His heart to the Church. This is the Lover’s dream.
